TESTIMONIALS

“My experience with Elissa has been nothing short of positive, powerful and life changing. She has a way of making our relationship feel personal while keeping it professional and she always goes above and beyond. During my divorce she was a source of strength, support and reassurance – a judgement free sounding board, keeping me on the track I wanted to be on. I trust her whole heartedly and I am so grateful to have been referred to her. After seeing Elissa, I can assure you that you’ll be better off than wherever or however you started.”

"I am so grateful to have Elissa on my family's team. Having her as a sounding board - for them and me - is invaluable. And I cannot imagine my children connecting more solidly with anyone. I recommend her to anyone who asks!"

“I started going to Elissa when I was going through a very dark period after I had contemplated taking my life. I knew I needed to start seeing a therapist and I’d actually always heard about Elissa, but had never gotten the courage to go. I made an appointment, and after my first session, my life already felt different. It has been so nice to have someone to talk to – someone who truly listens to me. I’d seen a few Houston therapists before, but she was different because she made me feel special. When I had a baby, she was one of the first people I wanted to tell. She even came to see me in the hospital because I was having a hard time emotionally and needed her support. She’s the best therapist I could ever ask for. Even though I don’t go as often as I used to, I will always see her once a month because seeing her makes me feel better. It’s so nice to have her as a source of stability in this crazy thing called life.”

"I originally sought out Elissa for grief counseling. She helped me work through a very difficult time in my life through grounded, practical advice, compassion and kindness. As my trust in her grew, I introduced her to my husband and children and she has been invaluable in helping us (both as a family and individually) to navigate through the teenage years. My daughter has a wonderful relationship with Elissa and listens to her when she doesn’t want to listen to me. I have recommended Elissa several times to friends going through difficult times and I will continue to do so. Her professionalism and expertise is without question."

"Elissa has been an integral part of keeping our marriage together. Not only is she a great listener, she always has great situational advice and is there for us no matter what. I hate to think how much different our lives would be if we had not found and put our trust in her."

"I started seeing Elissa twelve years ago to help me cope with family issues. She has remained a constant source of positive support ever since and gives sage advice that has helped me to grow and maintain healthy relationships. She is absolutely wonderful!"

“Elissa has been my therapist for over 5 years. I was in a terrible, abusive marriage and she gave me the courage to get out. She was in touch me often outside of work hours to make sure I was ok. If it hadn't been for her, I would still be in that horrific situation. She empowered me to have a better life. My teenagers also saw her and got through it all with her support. I highly recommend her!”

"I wouldn't have made it through high school without Elissa. I can tell her anything and truly feel like she accepts me for who I am. I'm SO thankful I can see her through virtual appointments from college."

“Our family has been blessed by Elissa’s guidance. We started seeing Elissa two years ago for marital issues we are thankful to have overcome. We have since seen her individually, as a couple, and as a family with our teen. We have seen other therapists in the past and, hands down, have never had a therapist that was as helpful as Elissa. She is so easy to open up to, and we always feel hopeful, encouraged, and emotionally equipped after talking to her. She has a huge heart and truly cares for her clients – even our teenage daughter trusts her. We are so grateful we don’t have to navigate life without her!”
